Integral part of a technical team supporting enterprise level Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) for the U.S. Air Force. Responsibilities include:
  • Act as liaison between military/civilian personnel, management, users, system developers and other system stakeholders to elicit requirements, manage change control, and develop maintenance and deployment schedules.
  • Perform advanced administration duties for various applications within the IDE family as well as basic administration for Oracle and MS SQL Server database servers, web servers, servlet containers and reporting servers.
  • Work with Technical Lead to develop installation, maintenance, and deployment plans. Worked closely with system developers as Lead Installation Technician to execute these plans to adhere to all Air Force Materiel Command enterprise standards as well as local Hanscom Air Force Base protocols and security requirements.
  • Key member of software testing team; duties include verification and validation using functional, regression, and integration testing procedures. Results are collected into tracking tool to quantitatively manage quality related processes.
  • Write SQL queries to pull data out from the database and write MS macro to build reports from the data for staff meeting, analysis, and more.

Major Qualifying Project - Curious Human Interaction (12/01 - 4/02)

The purpose of this project was to find the correlations between users' action while surfing the web page and their actual interest. A new Internet browser called Curiouser Browser was built using Visual Basic with enhanced features to collect data. The browser was able to track user activities using API such as web sites visited, amount of time spent on page, mouse movements, keyboard movements, and more. Interactive Qualifying Project - Hong Kong Project Center in Hong Kong, China (1/01 - 3/01)

Analysis and Web Site Development for Caritas-HK Adult and Higher Education Service (CAHES) The goal was to review existing Caritas website and to provide a prototype replacement. The new website incorporated changes in line with the evaluation result of websites developed in the WebQual system and accomplished the needs of Caritas resulted from interviews with key Caritas staff and students.
